Just for the cause

Animation is nicely done, a bit basic but enjoyable to watch. I'd give you a 7, but the cause is right.

@chaos-ad : no space here to discuss the climate problem, but I suppose you should read a bit more on the topic. CO2 is indeed good for the plants, but there's more to the earth than that. Interesting topics are : combustion toxicity, physics of warmth, meteorology 101, el Nino and la Nina, worldwide reduction of ice surface,...

Some basic economy wouldn't hurt either. As to realize how a one-way stream inevitably has to stop one day, and how innovation has always been the key to evolution. Hydrogen works, so why not?

This reminded me again what the "5" button is for. You surely raised the standards of Newgrounds. I'm hooked, and I guess everybody else who watches this.

Wonderful

I admire these series. It's incredible how such simple yet superneat drawings can tell such fluent and hilarious stories. You are a genius with the medium! Hooray for the music as well, that's a lot of variations on the same few polkas :-).

One thing that would make this absolutely perfect, is adjusting the shadow on the pen when it moves. Making the light always come from the same direction, if that makes sense to you. Now it still looks like a pic moving over the screen. Keeping the sense of the direction of the light, would make it more "real". If you're really daring, you can try to find a way to construct the texture of the paper in the same sense too.

But those things are really the most minor detail, this animation is perfect in every sense.

Great work of art, the plant! You might want to brush off your flash skills a bit though, and make sure we don't have to reload the whole page in order to play this thingy again. ;-)

looks simple, is great

For a moment you fooled me there. I though I was going to see the next spam from the next group, but wow.

The animation looks really simple, but is actually well thought out. The combination with the music grabbed me and made me want to watch it. Twice. Must be good then.

Funny and original

I really loved the song, simple but catchy. The animations fit very well, and adds to the song. They wouldn't be complete without eachother.

It's great how you change the meaning of the "doing things that people do" in the bridge with a simple image. A perfect example of one and one is a whole lot more than two.

Dark

The storyline is dark, very dark even. I like how it is put out in bits and pieces like a puzzle. You leave a lot of room for guessing the relations between the characters, and I love the semi-randomness of the sequence of events. This story has to be continued, it has great potential.

The execution is good, but far from perfect. Better than I can for sure, but this story deserves top-notch animation to spice it up even more.

Great potential, keep up the good work!

thanks, yeah I was worried I made it a lil too confusing, glad you liked it, I really like the show Lost and I used some of the "techniques" I saw there for building up suspense, about the charcters- I was watching BSG and realised that what made that show so amazing were not the uber awesome combat scenes, but the character-character relations, and when combined, bam! Of course this is a very small thing in comparison however can't hurt to study from the best :)

Very nice flash, very nice music

Loved both of them. Very well executed and the flash follows the music very well.

Don't know what it is that make people freak when the word "geek" comes out. I find it especially funny to read how some have to express their coolness in their review, and especially want to stress they're not jealous at all.

Honestly, when I see a couple that much in love (and that doesn't happen too often), I envy them a bit too. No matter their geek-level. But apparently, the "let's take eachother as we are and enjoy the moments together" kind of love isn't cool enough. Marry-divorce-fuckanotherbitchandbech eatedon seems more the cool way of doing it.

Love the flash, love the message.

Nice flash, but somehow you got the wrong message

Well, the flash is nice. But I get a bit irritated by the way you look upon your own belief, and especially the rest of the world. I agree with LordOfTheGame, the way you picture jews is far beyond dignity. You sin in the same way you try to condemn.

Isa, one of the messengers of Allah, said loud and clear "whoever is without sins, let him throw the first stone." He might very well not be the Son of God as Christians believe, but the Holy Quran states loud and clear that Isa is indeed a messenger from Allah, and as thus his message should be heard and respected by every muslim.

Which brings me to the next point : as the Quran never changed, can you explain me how on earth it is possible that muslims (Sunnites) blow up muslims (Shiites) and vice versa? They have the same religion, don't they? Again, they are no better than the Catholics and the Protestants, who have been killing eachother for ages, and in the name of the same God.

And not only that, about both the content and the interpretation of the Quran, there is still a strong debate going on between literally hundreds of groups. Talk to ten muslims from a different country, and you have as much different views on the same book. The Quran is a Holy Book, but it is copied and interpreted by humans, and you should be the first to acknowledge that only Allah makes no mistakes.

Which brings me to the last point : Allah makes no mistakes. He created everything and everybody, and who are you to feel yourself better than the rest of the creation? Wasn't it Satan himself who was so arrogant that he didn't want to humble himself, and felt better than the rest?

I have a high respect for the true Islamic beliefs and way of life. As in every religion, you find quite some people who like to show off how good a muslim they are. And then you have the true muslims, humble and firm in their belief, and open to anybody who wants to listen.

For the judgement will be done by Allah and Allah alone!

Prophet Muhammad alrdy stated "Those who turned back his brother (muslims) more than 3 days, he is no longer my follower (no longer a muslim) unless one go and make peace to one another"
