Great game, simple yet entertaining. Graphics are cool, music is nice, game is difficult enough to keep you busy but gives enough rewards to be funny, it's very well balanced.
Thanks for the fun

Very good game
I agree with everybody else : The game is great, nicely executed, good graphics, nice sound (I don't find it boring, but I'm an old fart). I also agree with most of the extensions people suggested, like multiplayer, making a campaign mode with balanced maps, and so on.
Yet, I found some little bugs : sometimes there is a sea unit suddenly appearing at random on the map, and mostly on land. It is not an active unit, there is no soldiers linked to it, it doesn't move, it doesn't fight. It's just displayed there without doing anything. And when you reload the map, it's gone.
I've played the game now every evening since it came out, and I have the impression that sometimes there is something going wrong with the calculations in the fights too. Not often, but sometimes you or the computer beats a heavy unit with another heavy unit, but still has 99 soldiers left in that unit. Quite impossible if you ask me.
I noticed both a couple of times, but nowhere near often enough to really be disturbing. Still love playing it. And that's also what I'm going to do now.
Thanks!
The "ghost army" bug should be fixed now, thanks for pointing out. About problem with battle calculations, I haven't noticed anything like that yet...
No sponsors
I can play it without having to go to the sponsors website. Not a bad game, albeit fairly simple. Nothing too new, just a "click on the series of equal figures" game. But nicely executed
buah
Nicely done, but I hate popups.
popups have been taken out, it was a coding error.
Almost there
I'm playing this game for more than two months now, so it's not that boring...
Actually, I can follow quite some of the remarks about the difficulty and the "boringness" : the game is so complex it takes a while to get into it. First thing is to get all the different gems and combinations. You really have to get used to it, know exactly what is which, which enemies react on which gems and so on. If you're not aware of that, you anticipate the game as being "create as many gems, place them in towers and hope they kill everything".
Then you discover this game is soooo much more. Honestly, it's only after I started paying attention to the colors of the gems , got the details of the mana system and discovered the bombs, that I really got into the game. Beating it requires quite some strategy, and that is a good thing!
A big discovery was the "speed up" : if you let the waves come faster, you don't only gain more mana, you get more points which gives you upgrades faster. By using the upgrades wisely, you can get very far without much trouble. To get the maximum out of the upgrades, it's a very good idea to get as many "glowing frame" scores as possible. This is done -again- by letting the waves come faster, and by building towers, making gems, throwing bombs : the more of that you do, the more points you get as well.
The game itself is flawless, I didn't find anything wrong. It's hard, but far from impossible. By now, I'm at level 55 and I cleared most of the map. The difficulty is set right I believe : challenging enough to keep you busy and attentive, but not so hard that it's impossible to beat. The only level I really don't manage is the first hidden one, where you have only the poison available. The last boss always kills me.
The game is also very nicely executed, with good graphics and a fitting sound. All together makes this game a top game.
A full ten, keep them coming.
nice game
Nice game, although very simple for a defence game.

Great game!
It's a nice simulation, and carried out very well. one remark :
I noticed I had to move the mouse a little bit every time I wanted to click on the increase or decrease arrows when buying items.
Crashed my Firefox
I fill in a first name, a last name, an age, a gender, and click OK without selecting anything else. And there it goes. "Firefox crashed". I have tried a couple of times, and it happens every time.
I couldn't play the game, so I can't review or give stars, I'm sorry. I'll give you 5 stars with this review to not crash your score completely, as other people apparently liked it.
You should really look into that one. Let me know when the problem is solved, and I'll be happy to try again.
I don't know how to fix such a problem, because I can run it on Safari and Firefox without any trouble. Try playing the game on a different browser yourself and see what happens.
Epic!
Woohoow. what a trip. The defence game in itself is pretty basic, without an upgrade system and a limited (but nice) set of towers. But what a combination! It's amazing how well balanced the gameplay is. I love how you have to go for specific colore to buy specific towers.
Personally I think the difficulty is rightly balanced, another strong point. The graphics are good, the control flawless and the music not disturbing. So if it would be just a defence game, it would be a very decent one.
But it's not just a defence game. It's even not two games in one. It's a unique twist that gave me a whole new gaming experience
Keep em coming!
Thanks for playing! It seems like lots of players have enjoyed the combination of gameplay -- I give a lot of credit to Puzzle Quest, Puzzle Pirates, and Puzzle Fighter for introducing the idea of puzzle/other-game hybrids.
Keep an eye out for sequels or iPhone/iPod ports :)
