hehe
Nice game actually. A bit short, but quite funny. And those who don't get it, don't worry. One day you'll see the light.

Nice tower defence
The gameplay was actually quite smooth, and there are some cool original ideas like the walls and the ability to relocate the towers. I don't agree that this is just another one. The fact that you have to guide the enemies along your defence, gives an extra challenge.
And that's also the problem. The beginning is confusing, as you have no idea about how the different enemies chose their path. There is also no way to influence the way the towers fire, which is a bit annoying in this setting. As mentioned by others, they inherently pick the first one, which makes them very inefficient at times.
Also the money gain is very slow. It would be nice if you could get a bonus if you call for the next wave before the timer runs out for example. As it is now, the game is pretty hard, and requires some devotion to get used to it. A bit more guidance or an easier mode to learn would be nice.
nice start
Others have already suggested most of what I wanted to say. I did read the instructions, but I have to admit that was a pain! it would be nice to be able to scroll through them with the arrow keys. I also noticed that every new page that gets displayed, starts somewhere halfway. So you have to scroll up first to be able to read. Small things, but annoying.
Good ideas, thanks!
Clean, original, fun
Loved the game. It has enough towers and upgrades to be cool, but not too much to be confusing. The levels are nicely thought out, and indeed require different strategies. OK, it's another variation on the defence theme, but this is one I particularly like.
I loved the very original way of letting the enemies (balloons) go through stages. This definitely makes it a whole lot easier to see which ones need how many hits. Also the tower animations are done very nicely.
Beating the game in the easy modes requires a bit of training, but I got the hang of it quick enough not to get frustrated, and I'm up for the other modes.
Thx for the game!
marvellous
This game rocks. It runs smoothly, has a nice difficulty curve and a genious challenging puzzles. It requires good thinking and a strategy. I manage to do all of them in far less moves than I have available though, you might want to lower the allowed number of moves a bit.
I'm playing this since it came on NG as a timewaster between studying and working, and it's a great way to relax without becoming braindead.
Thx for the game, keep them coming
second the rest
Indeed, the food supply is set up wrong, and that costs money. I also never get further than 37.000 points, because whatever I try, I cannot set up enough defence for that wave. They always break through. Correcting the food supply so it diminishes according to the actual population might be all that is needed, as it certainly saves on the money. I end up every time having to build 8 farms at least for 1000 people...
unplayable
It's a smooth running game, at least the part I got to see. I never managed to get past the second checkpoint, even though I made no steering mistake, constantly gave full power, didn't bump into anything and was closely second in the race. After 10 times, I gave up.
It's not too difficult. I'm positive it's impossible.
Very nice, but some flaws
The game itself is very nice (and cute). It's a fun idea, and every level adds to the fun by adding a new feature. The graphics are clean and nicely done.
However...
Somewhere in the fifth level I started getting problems with the game freezing once in a while for a split second. Sometimes this coincided with a yellow line being drawn over the screen. These are flaws that shouldn't be anymore in a game that is for the rest very nicely executed.
One strong minus is the adds in the game. I can bear them when you show the next level, but it's really annoying when you break the game to make people stare at the ads. If it wasn't to be able to write a review that makes sense, I would stop playing right there.
interlevel ads have been removed
Again...
very nice job, and a great idea. thanks for the effort.
Nice try
For a first game, it is quite neat. There is room for improvement however :
- I assume the different colors of the orbs indicate different difficulty levels. You should mention that.
- it would be nice if you add sound when you collect a gold one, or bump into a stone orb. Now you can bump into one without noticing, and lose a life.
- The button "music off" is part of the playfield. This is quite confusing, as gold orbs pop up over that button. Try putting that one outside. Same with the score, amount of lives and time. If you hover over them, you get the type-sign, and that's confusing too.
All in all a nice first try. Keep on developing!
